This beadboard dresser/changing table has a removable lid. The lid, when in position, fits tightly around the top of the dresser. There is a 1" lip that hangs down from the lid that secures its position to the dresser. There is no worry of the lid sliding or lifting up. Once the child is old enough & no longer needs changing, the changing lid can be removed & now the "Changer" converts to a beautiful & unique flat top dresser. This changing dresser is available in standard colors above or can be painted any Benjamin Moore color.
