Our one-second Ear Thermometer makes taking your child's temperature easy and convenient. It doesn't need a probe cover so you don't have to struggle with them or find that you don't have any just when you need one. It also doesn't require an uncomfortable "ear-tug" so your child will fuss less making it easier for you to take her temperature. And, clinical examinations show that temperature readings taken by ear thermometers are considered to be as accurate as oral readings.
The probe on our Ear Thermometer is waterproof so it can be cleaned with alcohol or warm water. However, do not immerse the entire unit in water.
But remember, our Ear Thermometer is not a substitute for a visit to your physician. If your child's temperature goes above 100°F, you should consult your doctor.
The Ear Thermometer requires one lithium battery (included) that has a 3-year average life.
